Lunch Made Easy: {Gluten Free} Apple Ring Donut Simple School LunchBox
We've never been able to walk into a bakery and purchase donuts, due to Little Miss' peanut allergy.
Now that she's also gluten free, even the prepackaged "safe" options aren't available (without spending an arm and a leg on frozen brand GF ones).
She *loves* the Apple Ring Donuts I made for MOMables. They are gluten free and nut free, but can also easily be made dairy free by substituting the butter for a vegan spread. It also has the added nutrition of ground flax and fresh apples.
So for something a little fun and different, I decided to pack one up in her School Lunch for today!

Lunch Made Easy: Simple Nut & Gluten Free School Lunchbox Ideas
Truth be told, Little Miss is off school today but spending the day with her sitter instead while Mama is working.
I still pack her an {Allergy Friendly} lunch box, wherever she goes.
The same principles apply - Nut Free & Gluten Free without sacrificing taste and fun fixins'. The lunch is also Egg Free.

Lunch Made Easy: What's in YOUR {Allergy Friendly} School Lunch?
If your child attends a nut free school or is in a peanut free classroom, for many, it's a daunting task at the beginning of each school year.
It doesn't have to be - don't let the lack of PB&J think you can't pack amazing school lunches and snacks for your kiddos.

Lunch Made Easy: Fun Day!
Tomorrow is "Fun Day!" at Little Miss' school ~ Much like the Field Day I had as a kiddo in school - outdoor activities, races, contests, etc. Although it's suppose to rain, so most likely they'll be having it in the gymnasium.

Lunch Made Easy: Lunch by Little Miss
Little Miss requested she pick out all her foods for lunch again tomorrow. :) I happy obliged, of course! I'm always intrigued to see what she'll pick out and what she's got planned, lol... She gave me her list pretty quickly, as if she'd been contemplating it all afternoon! Love it.

Lunch Made Easy: Pizza Day
All the hot lunch kiddos are having pizza tomorrow, so I pulled one of our gluten-free Chebe Pizza Muffins out of the freezer this morning for Little Miss.
She always loves when she can have pizza-something on days they are too.

Lunch Made Easy: Little Miss & Mama Bentos
Today was the fellas birthday ~ We had a great dinner out as a lil' fam but that also meant getting home late and then squeezing in bed time stories, teeth brushing, etc for Little Miss so she wouldn't be up too much later than normal bed time (an hour past normal isn't that bad, right!?) :) Then Mama went to work on lunches.

Lunch Made Easy: Lazy Day Tacos
Ahh Friday! This week has flown by... we've been so busy (but all good things). Yesterday we took a road trip to visit family. Our LONG day trip involved 8 hours of Mama driving, so when we stumbled in at 1am I was tiiiiired. Here is lunch time ~ Little Miss and I are still in our jammies. We'll be productive this afternoon. I promise. ;) lol

Lunch Made Easy: Hello Kitty & the ELB
Last night I was so happy to hear that big brown UPS truck pull infront of my house. I knew exactly what it was - My new Easy Lunchboxes! Even though to Little Miss, the only difference she'll notice is the fun lid colors, I like how much thicker they are than my disposables. Plus they're also dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe - Win!
I also realized this morning I had not had a Hello Kitty appearance in quite sometime (that is just unacceptable, especially considering how much Little Miss LOVES her).
