Lunch Made Easy: Throw Together Thursday

Hello!! First let me say, the fella and I had a wonderful few days away. Nice to get some "adult time" and relax. I shared just a few pics from our trip on Instagram, if you'd like to check them out here.

We got back last night and boy am I tired! But I wanted nothing more than to just keep hugging my Little Miss - I swear she grew another two inches while we were away. Funny how that works, huh?

Being gone also meant we have a lack of groceries in the house. Thankfully, I was able to throw together this delish School Lunch for my girl. Tuna salad is one of her favorites!

Little Miss usually gets a rice cake with SunButter once a week, if not in her lunch then as her school snack. (I sometimes share those pics on Instagram if you're ever interested in seeing - you can follow me @keeleymcguireblog).

I always play with raisins decorating them too - flowers, hearts, writing out words like "Hi!" lol, anything to surprise her and make her smile.

Little Miss requested she pick out all her foods for lunch again tomorrow. :) I happy obliged, of course! I'm always intrigued to see what she'll pick out and what she's got planned, lol... She gave me her list pretty quickly, as if she'd been contemplating it all afternoon! Love it.

Woot! Friday! Finally!! It's been one of those long weeks for us, lol... So I am soooo relieved it's Friday tomorrow. What better way to enjoy lunch then with a smile! Right?! Right! :)

Little Miss is back at it tomorrow (Monday)! She is actually very excited to go back to school and see her friends. She had a playdate twice with one of her BFF's over break, and sees another at church. After service today she told me she missed them all. (Aww, lol)

I'm looking forward to getting back to normalcy and our schedule. (Even though it's always hectic, hehe.)
