Lunch Made Easy: {Gluten Free} Apple Ring Donut Simple School LunchBox

We've never been able to walk into a bakery and purchase donuts, due to Little Miss' peanut allergy.
Now that she's also gluten free, even the prepackaged "safe" options aren't available (without spending an arm and a leg on frozen brand GF ones).
She *loves* the Apple Ring Donuts I made for MOMables. They are gluten free and nut free, but can also easily be made dairy free by substituting the butter for a vegan spread. It also has the added nutrition of ground flax and fresh apples.
So for something a little fun and different, I decided to pack one up in her School Lunch for today!

Snackable: Last Day of School!

Thursday is the last day of school for Little Miss *sniff sniff* ~ It's a half day.
My baby will no longer be a first grader! Bahhh, how did this happen!?!?! ;)

I still have to pack her a snack for the AM like I do every day. The fella is taking her out for a special "daddy/ daughter lunch" after school as a surprise since he'll be the one picking her up. So sweet! All his idea too.

Here's her snack for tomorrow:

Lunch Made Easy: Hello Kitty Returns!

Little Miss always love random Hello Kitty appearances in her lunchbox. This one is simple, but will make her smile when she opens the lid of her EasyLunchBoxes container tomorrow. :)

Lunch Made Easy: Runaway Whisker

I wasn't feeling ultra inspired this evening, but I managed a bit of cuteness thanks to my Hello Kitty cutter.

Lunch Made Easy: Hello Kitty and Other Yummy Stuff

I realized Hello Kitty hadn't made a lunch box appearance in quite some time. She was overdue since she's on the top of "things Little Miss loves" list.

Lunch Made Easy: Hello Kitty & the ELB

Last night I was so happy to hear that big brown UPS truck pull infront of my house. I knew exactly what it was - My new Easy Lunchboxes! Even though to Little Miss, the only difference she'll notice is the fun lid colors, I like how much thicker they are than my disposables. Plus they're also dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe - Win!

I also realized this morning I had not had a Hello Kitty appearance in quite sometime (that is just unacceptable, especially considering how much Little Miss LOVES her).

Lunch Made Easy: Well, Hello, Kitty ;)

A few days ago I finally found and purchased a set of two cute Hello Kitty cutters. Found them at Hobby Lobby (I spend way to much $ each time I walk into that store... is there a Hobby Lobbyholics group?)
Anyways, here is Little Miss's Hello Kitty lunch for this fabulous Thursday! She even wore one of her Hello Kitty shirts & socks to school to go with the theme, lol.

Lunch Made Easy: More Bento Inspired Meals

Well, just to update - I found two bento style containers today so I can use them for Little Miss's lunches this week! YAY! Can't wait to post pics of them... :)

Here are two more meals she's had at the house with a bit of creativity added!

Lunch Made Easy: Bento Inspiration has begun...

My sister has gotten me hooked and completely interested in Bento lunches.
The art and the practicality! I need to build my supplies up... and now with the school year ending, I might as well wait until it begin again in the fall before I really splurge. :)
That being said, I plan on placing an order for a few things after the weekend. SO EXCITED!

Below I'm not only going to post her lunch from today, again utilizing the recycled strawberry container she now loves (LOL) but also a Bento inspired dinner I made for her the other night.
