Today is a very special day, my friends!
Exactly one year ago today my Little Miss started her {gluten free} journey. We had already been packing school lunches for over five years and eating {nut free} due to her food allergies, but this would be a life changing decision.
In the past year my Little Miss has changed so much! No more tummy aches. No more digestive problems. No more random vomiting. Her eczema is better. Her asthma is better. Her overall attitude is better... Because she FEELS better!  I am one relieved and smiling Mama!!  A day so special could not go without a celebration! Lunch Made Easy: MOMables Monday - Special Moms Day Off Edition

I hope all of my Mom's, Mama's, Mommy's, Madres, etc had a FABULOUS day today!
Little Miss made her entire lunch by herself this evening. Giving this Mama the night off from lunch making her lunch, yet still getting to have fun watching and seeing her be so proud of her own creations. Priceless!

Lunch Made Easy: Nana Love

Tomorrow is Grandparent's Day at school so my mother (aka Nana) will be attending a luncheon, art fair, and special musical performance just for the grandparents! Little Miss has been looking forward to it all week!

They did the performance for parents tonight. Thus my later than normal posting - we just got home a bit ago. So I quickly made lunches and am trying to get things settled for the evening. I wanted to do her special "Nana Lunch" more justice but getting home so late simply put a damper on more "cuteness". Oh well, I know she'll still love it!

Some of you may know that Earth Day is this Sunday (April 22nd).  We should celebrate our love for our planet every day by taking better care of her!! :)

A Pinterest board was even created for all of us to share our goods. It's pretty amazing actually.

I feel my "collection" is small, in comparison to everyones but when I spread it all out I realized I have more cookie cutters than I even realized, haha! :) I'm okay with this.

We have a fun week this week ~ Valentine's Day Tuesday and the fella has his birthday on Wednesday. An expensive time of year for this mama ($$ eek!) but an awesome week full of love and laughter with two important dates tied into it!

In keeping with my hearts I started with Friday's lunch ;) WHICH by the way Little Miss ended up eating AT HOME because she had a Snow Day... not just a snow DAY a snow WEEKEND. We got over 12" of snow at our house. Ugh! At least the roads aren't terrible... now. lol
Oh well, she LOVED it and that's all that matters. :)
