Lunch Made Easy: On the road again...

On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again... NOT. ;)

Today Little Miss is all over the place with me - I'm on the road for work and have a meeting later today so I packed us up some lunches early this AM and snacks so I wouldn't be forced to stop for a Happy Meal instead. (*Points for Mama!* lol)

Little Miss's lunch is pictured on top. She has a honey wheat bread with oven roasted deli turkey & colby jack cheese for her sandwich. In between the slices are some carrots. Top right are some Veggie Straws. Bottom right is a small cup with lowfat cottage cheese and cantaloupe dices.

Mama's is pictured on the bottom. I have a romaine salad again with carrots & shredded cheese. There are also a few sugar snap peas thrown in. Top right I also have Veggie Straws. Bottom right is a small cup with lowfat cottage cheese and some blueberries.

Both lunches are packed in EasyLunchBoxes containers.

The small cups I used for the cottage cheese and you've probably seen in my lunches before for Little Miss, I actually purchased from the dollar store last spring... for a pack of 10! Can't beat that. :)

I also packed us each a Banana Strawberry Orange muffin for a snack.

Have a great day everyone!

  2. Those look like great lunches. Over the holidays we had were on the road a lot and had to resort to fast food a few times. I always regretted when I did... it really doesn't even taste good to me any more and your lunches look so much better than "Happy Meals!"

  3. Hi Keeley, I wouldn't mind having either of those lunches made up for me. They really look delicious. Thanks for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
