Lunch Made Easy: Happy "Talk Like A Pirate Day" Matey!

Blimey Mates!
It's "Talk Like A Pirate Day"!

When I first told Little Miss it was "Talk Like A Pirate Day" on Wednesday and that we'd be doing a special lunch to celebrate, she immediately screamed out "Bucanners! Bucaneers!" I'm not kidding when I say our family is NFL obsessed, she wanted the Tampa Bay Bucaneers in her school lunch box, lol.
The reason *she* loves the Bucaneers so much is because of a joke the fella told her which has now become her absolute favorite and is repeated whenever she sees them playing on TV.
How much does a pirate charge for corn?
A BUCK-AN-EAR! Get it? Buck-an-ear... Bucaneer. ;)

Since Little Miss wanted me to incorporate the Bucaneers and her joke, I made her a SunButter & jellyfish sandwich (grape jelly, don't worry - play along, lol) on gluten free bread. It's topped with provalone cheese I colored to look like the Tampa Bay Bucaneers logo.
Under her sandwich is white cheddar and veggies Pirates Booty.
Beside it, in the yellow silicone container, is a sword of shrimp and an octopus dog.
The upper left is one-eyed Willy ~ aka, a hard boiled egg done in a bear mold and colored with food safe markers. (Can't take credit for this clever idea with the egg. Found it HERE.)
The upper right is a orange pirate ship on a sea of grapes.

Since I needed to also incorporate corn (from the joke and per her request), I thought what better way then it serving as gold, or doubloons, in a treasure chest!
I decorated our EasyLunchboxes Mini Dipper with paper and tape to look like a treasure chest, hehehe...

For added piratey-fun, I made a themed juice box for her lunch cooler too. ;) I love the little treasure chest so much.
