Lunch Made Easy: 100th Day of School

Hola mis amigos! I have returned from vacation!
Tanned and relaxed. Today was a whirlwind because we didn't get home until 3:30am so after catching up on some sleep, it mostly involved laundry, last bits of homework for Little Miss, and a trip to the grocery store.
Little Miss did FANTASTIC on her first plane ride. We gave her benadryl before each flight as a precaution against any allergy flare ups (plus wiping down and sterlizing her seat area as best I could). We spent six days in Nuevo Vallarta at an all inclusive resort with trips into Puerto & Viejo Vallarta. A great experience as I've never been to Mexico before - life long memories for Little Miss. Plus we got to see two of our friends get married on the beach. It was beautiful! So glad we went.
Back to reality though. Little Miss returns to school tomorrow (Friday). It's their 100th Day of School PLUS pajama day... great one to come back to, right!? :) Lucky girl!

Little Miss has a spinach salad in the main compartment. I liked the look of the carrots and shredded cheese - the carrots looking like zeros and cheese like ones. :)
The salad is topped with SunButter & Honey sandwich bites, cut out to spell "100" for the 100th Day of School celebration.

Top left is a red seedless grape and blueberry fruit medley. Again, in my mind was thinking they were round like zeros.
Top right are three organic baby carrots stacked (reminding me of ones for one hundred).
The small container has vanilla yogurt. I added in some various round blue sprinkles for zeros and red and yellow for ones.
Lunch is packed inside an EasyLunchBoxes container.

I feel like I have so much to catch up on! Being unplugged for a week was amazing - no phone or internet. Loved it.
For all my fellow bloggy buddies, I'll try to catch up this weekend on all your awesome posts. :)

  3. Glad your back! Great 100 day lunch :) Does Little Miss eat the spinach and carrots without any dip or dressing? I'm really working on the veggies with my kids. Love your blog!

  4. Thanks everyone :)

@Bobbi - she actually will eat it plain, but I usually send her a small container in her ELB cooler with a tiny bit of zesty italian dressing in it (her fave with spinach).
