I bought Little Miss a bag of "Space Adventures" Goldfish Crackers, so I thought it'd be cute to come up with something... "spacey" to incorporate them into the lunch.
I free-handed a sandwich into the shape of
Below the sandwich are the "Space Adventures" crackers, with one of the space ships flying over Jupiter as I type! ;)
Top left are some marshmallows, with three crescent moon shapes on top.
Next to it is a Sunbutter Granola Ball - I thought it kind of resembled a meteor. lol
A mini-box of raisins is also tucked in there.
On the right is a moon shaped silicone dish with a star shaped hard boiled egg, done in her egg mold, some blueberries & grapes, cantaloupe dices, and cauliflower florets.
Everything is packed into a Snapware container.
(A couple weeks ago there was a $3 off any one Snapware item coupon in the paper. This container was priced $3.99 so I only paid $0.99 for it. Mama loves a deal!)
ETA: Obviously I WAS lost in my kitchen this morning... I wrote Jupiter & not Saturn for her sandwich. LOL wowzas! Mama needs to go back to school...
Love it! I've never seen those crackers. Great job of designing a bento to match! We are sitting here trying to come up with a theme for today...less than an hour til we leave so it might not be any them today!
ReplyDeleteThose crackers are so fun! Love Jupiter too!
ReplyDeleteThank you both! :)
ReplyDeleteCorey - I didnt even notice until you commented, it's suppose to be SATURN! LOL (I made a noted edit at my own expense) ;)
I was obviously not awake this morning... haha
So fitting with the meteor crossing between the earth and moon tonight!
