Lunch Made Easy: The Great Pumpkin

In sticking with my Halloween lunches lately, today's theme is all about Pumpkins!

Sandwich cutout with my pumpkin shaped cookie cutter. A slice of food color dyed provalone on top, with the face and stem drawn with my Betty Crocker food writer pen, to create the pumpkin.

Some red seedless grapes are scattered beside it.

Ontop of a bed of carrot matchsticks is a babybel cheese. I carved a jack-o-lantern/ pumpkin face into the was using my pairing knife.

Next to it is a cupcakes in a pumpkin cupcake liner with a cute pumpkin pick flag. (I found these liners & picks as a set from my Dollar Tree.)

Bottom right is a cup of diced peaches. I used a permanent marker to draw a pumpkin face ontop of the disposable cover.

Top right contains a hard boiled egg with in a Halloween themed baggy. I had purchased a box of the baggies from my Dollar Tree and hadn't used any yet, so I thought why not wrap up the egg and fold the baggy so that the pumpkin is facing ontop. :)

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and has a great Monday!

  2. Those are good ideas...to put the egg in a decorative baggie and to draw on the cover of the container of peaches. ~Neat!!
