Lunch Made Easy: If the shoe fits... Eat it!

Yeah, we're girls.
We Love Shoes.

So, why not make a fun school lunch about it, right!?

{Allergy Friendly} Gluten, Peanut, & Tree Nut Free with Dairy & Egg Free Notes:

On Little Miss' gluten free bread, she has SunButter & Jelly in the shape of high heels. I cut the words out of provolone cheese and colored them with my food safe markers.

Above the shoes is Stackermallow marshmallow that I tried to make look like a little shopping bag. The handle is made from string cheese.

The pink high heels next to the sandwiches are actually from a cake decorating shop. I've had them for some time now, along with a few other colors (hehe) and she's been waiting oh so patiently for me to use them. She actually plans on using the heel as a pick to eat the food with. LOL, silly girl!

In a heart shaped silicone cup, she had red seedless grapes with high heel picks.

On the bottom right is a mixture of cheese stick bites and baby carrots, with a baby carrot heart on top.

Lunch is packed in an EasyLunchboxes container.

Additional notes
Egg Free: Depending on which brand of bread you use, this lunch is entirely egg free.
Dairy Free: Same notes depending on the brand of bread you use. Sub the cheese used for the letters with soy or rice non-dairy cheese, or even use a fruit leather instead. The handle of the "shopping bag" could be made with licorice in lieu of cheese.

  4. Hi Keeley,
A lunch with sole, er SOUL! Love it. Say, have you ever done a lunch in the "Little Red Riding Hood" theme? Our Little Miss has a field trip to that production and I'd love to surprise her at noon with a little lunch. Thanks for your continued inspiration!

  5. Yeah, let's go ahead and reinforce the idea that women MUST wear high heels. Through LUNCH no less.

    1. I'm terribly sorry you feel that way "anonymous". I don't recall stating anywhere we *must* wear high heels - it's a fun themed lunch for my "girly girl" who happens to love shoes and wearing mine around the house. She loved the lunch and that's all that matters to me - since its for her. I appreciate you taking the time to checkout our blog and comment though! Have a great day!
