Little Miss has a "MOMables Monkey Sandwich" - SunButter, Bananas, and a drizzle of honey on Udi's (gluten, soy, dairy, and nut free) Cinnamon Raisin bread.
On top of it are small cheese cut outs of different flower and leaf shapes for added bitesize fun!
The flower shapes mimic her silicone flower dip container shape. She also has flower cutout carrots. The rings from the cutouts are also in the upper left compartment.
Top right has pear slices and tiny strawberry bits along with two strawberry rings with flower cutouts in them.
Lunch is packed in an EasyLunchBoxes container.
This is probably her favorite sandwich in the entire world. lol |
So cute! Love the strawberry rings!
ReplyDeleteLove these strawberry rings too !
ReplyDeleteLove all the flowers, so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove all the bentos you do. Question: do they actually stay that nice by the time they get to school? Or do they fall all over when they're put in the back pack?
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous :)
DeleteI'd be telling a lie if I said they always stayed perfect, because they don't... however, for the most part yes they do :) she carries them in her ELB cooler or another one we have that keeps them laying flat. We also have the advantage that in her school she eats lunch in their classrooms so I never have to worry about kiddos running through halls swining their lunchboxes around ;) You also learn "tricks" along the way - for instance, when "attaching" something to a sandwich, you can use honey, SunButter, or even a tiny dab of mayo to act like "glue" to hold it in place. Hope that helps answer your question. :)
Keeley,
ReplyDeleteOnly YOU could make summer even more sunny! Love the nice combination of in-season fruits and a great balance of proteins and carbs to fuel your little one for summer fun!
The sandwich looks delicious! I will have to try making one.
