Lunch Made Easy: Birds of a Feather

Not gonna lie... when I started making Little Miss's sandwich, I had intended it to be a penguin buuuuuuut it looks more like a bird. So... BIRD IT IS! :)

Tuesday marks 12 days left on the Advent Lunches Christmas Countdown too. Doing the countdown has seriously been the best thing with Little Miss - even though I've made her lunch the night before - she'll wake up and tell ME how many days are left. I love it!

Little Miss has a Sunbutter & Honey BIRD sandwich ;)
His upper body and feathers are made from the heel part of the bread, to give him a two-tone look.

His eyes, beak, and feet are provalone cheese - parts are colored with my Betty Crocker food writer pens. The same goes with his winter hat: It's made of addtional sandwich and the colored portion is cheese.

Top right are some red seedless grapes. Bottom are cauliflower florets with a babybel on top. I carved the number 12 out to note our advent countdown number.

Lunch is packed in an EasyLunchBox.
