Easy Summer Road Trip Snacks #HorizonSnacks #Ad

This post is sponsored by Horizon Organic. All opinions are my own. Disclosure statement.

We love taking road trips in the summer to visit family out of state, new destinations, and even just quick trips to Lake Michigan and the beach.

In a few weeks, we'll be taking a road trip. I'm already planning and packing in my head what we'll need and use for the two and half day drive.

Traveling when you're on a specialty diet or have food allergies can be tricky. There's not always places to get safe food along the way, so you must always be prepared. That's why I love packing Horizon Organic products + healthy sides to give Little Miss yummy options on the road!

I don't know about your family, but it seems like we are no further than the end of our street when we're starting a road trip and Little Miss is already asking for snacks. *sigh*

It's for this reason, I want to make sure what she's eating isn't just greasy chips and candy. I try to provide her a good balance of fruits & veggies, paired with her favorite Horizon Organic items.

Here are some ideas:

Horizon Organic Chocolate Low-fat Milk box, Horizon Organic Mozzarella Cheese Stick, fresh raspberries, cauliflower, and two ham roll-ups.

Broccoli and carrot sticks with a sunflower seed spread cup for dipping, Horizon Organic Colby Shapes, strawberries & blueberries, and Horizon Organic Low-fat Cottage Cheese.

Horizon Organic Low-fat Milk Box, red delicious apple slices, Horizon Organic Mozzarella Cheese Stick, cucumber slices & carrot sticks, and an allergy free/ gluten free chocolate chip muffin.

Having easy-to-open containers that my Little Miss can use as a tray on her lap also keeps her foods nicely together and less of a mess in my car. #momwin

I just load the containers into a cooler with lots of ice and we're on our way!
