Lunch Made Easy: For My Shining Star!

As I've said before, the great thing about fun school lunches is you can be creative but keep it simple at the same time.

Take this lunch for instance; it took me no longer than about 8 minutes to throw together but makes a big impact to a child!

{Allergy Friendly} Gluten, Nut, & Dairy Free:

(Lunch can easily be made Egg Free depending on the brand of bread you use.)
Little Miss has a SunButter & jelly sandwich on Udi's bread, which is gluten, nut, soy, & dairy free.

I used my mini star cutter to create a start 'peek-a-boo' in the center of the sandwich.

Surrounding it are star shaped carrots and in the red star silicone cup are red seedless grape halves and star shaped pear dices.

The other star shaped silicone cup contains star shaped potato puffs by Market Pantry.

I know some with Celiac are not comfortable purchasing Market Pantry products due to possible cross contamination, Little Miss tolerates them just fine. For a nice {Allergy Friendly} option, check out Ian's brand potatoes. We love their Alphatots!

Lunch is packed in our Steeltainer container.

  3. Those are so cute! How do you do the carrots? do you slice first and then use the shape cutter?
