That's where this one came from for Father's Day:
(Sorry you can see my reflection taking the picture in it, lol)
I cutout the letters onto cardstock spelling "DAD", a letter in each photo.
We tried to think of fun pictures - the first one involved some driveway chalk where we tried to make it appear she was floating away wiht the balloons, the second just a nice portrait in the yard, and the third her standing in front of the sign at his Alma Mater.
This would be particularly cute if you had three kids - one child in each picture with a letter.
The frame I snagged from the dollar store, hehe :)
The prints were only 13 cents each. Not bad!
A nice addition gift to a family lunch out, a jumbo size bag of beef jerky from Sam's Club (jerky to him is like how chocolate is for women, lol), and a few other special items.
Here are some other Dad's Day ideas:

Monday on Facebook, I also posted a link to an amazing idea from DIY or DON'T - "6 Reasons" Craft. I think I'm still going to try and get this done before Sunday. :) Seems like a good Friday project for little miss and I to work on!
Oh my gosh, I love this idea! And I have just enough days left to implement it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was cute to do because I let her really be involved in picking where and how to take each photo and which ones to use. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's really excited to give it to him.
