We enjoy making cute & scary foods + Little Miss is so creative coming up with costume ideas each year.
School lunch is always a fun way for us to "celebrate the spookiness" with creative touches - by use of colors, foods, picks, and cookie cutters to take it up a notch.
Here's one of our recent Halloween lunches {gluten free & allergy friendly}:
For lunch Little Miss had a spider pizzadilla (pizza quesadilla) made with Udi's gluten, nut, dairy, & soy free tortillas.
Beside it, in a spider silicone cupcake holder (I purchased from Target after Halloween two years ago) is a clementine. He's decorated with a stick-on googly eye and a smile. ;)
She also has packed a faux-caramel apple (Vegan, dairy free, gluten free, egg free, nut free -- see how we made them by clicking HERE) and a side salad with a spider made from a yellow tomato & carrot sticks.
Lunch is packed in an EasyLunchboxes container.
