Little Lunch Lessons: Noah's Ark #TuesdayTeachings

In case you missed the post last week, I've started a new series on the blog called Little Lunch Lessons {Tuesday Teachings}

Last week, Little Miss was reminded of the book of Esther. Teaching her to have courage and that any person, even an ordinary girl, can do great things.

Little Miss helped me make her lunch before bed last night for this week's Little Lunch Lesson. We decided to do one of the most well known Bible stories: Noah & The Ark

The Ark looks like a cartoon tug boat, but roll with me on this... lol

The Lord spoke to Noah and put in his heart the will to build an Ark, though he had no idea what an Ark even was. God told him that there would be a great flood and it would rain for forty days and forty nights. He was to save his family and the animals, two by two.

It wasn't raining when Noah was instructed to build the Ark. Instead he listened and acted in faith, by following God's word.

Often in life, we will presented with unknowns or fear. It's at those moments we need to listen the most, trust God, and act in faith.

The story of Noah reminds me of my favorite passage. One that I hold near and dear to my heart:

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

We made the Ark from a gluten free, allergy friendly pancake. We surrounded it by some fun food picks and two cheese cats.

Also packed are red seedless grapes topped with two dolphins and two penguins cut from watermelon. She also had fresh organic corn off the cob topped with two elephant carrot cut outs

Lunch is packed in an EasyLunchboxes container. This lunch is gluten free, peanut free, nut free, egg free, soy free, and can be dairy free if you sub or eliminate the cheese cats making it Top 8 Allergy Free.
