For those that have followed KMG Blog for some time now, you may remember the fun tradition we started last December for Little Miss' lunch: Advent School Lunches ~ A Christmas Countdown.
This year, I plan on doing the same. She love last year having a countdown each day telling her how many days were left until Christmas.
I decided today would be a good day to revisit some of my favorites and share them with you for inspiration this holiday season!
. . . . . . . .
Here are some of my favorites:
First Day of December
In this lunch, Little Miss has a fun Santa sandwich complete with presents made from apple bites and a babybel cheese marking our countdown of 24 days left until Christmas.
. . .
Reindeer Games
By flipping my mini gingerbread man cookie cutter upsidown, I was able to create these adorable mini reindeer sandwiches to mark 19 days left on our countdown.
. . .
Frosty the Bagel
This one will definitely get a repeat this year - It was a big hit with Little Miss. Using a bagel, we created this adorable version of Frosty for lunch.
. . .
Up on the House Top!
This is probably one of my favorites, from the cucumber trees to the fun details on the chimney. It was simple to make but turned out so cute.
. . .
Elf in the EasyLunchbox
I love when the "thrown together last minute ideas" come together so nicely. This little guy I thought turned out so cute and made for a fun smile at lunch time.
These are fabulous!! What a great idea. I really think my girls would enjoy counting down the days til Christmas with lunches like these!
ReplyDeleteDo the other kids try to steal your daughter's lunches? How clever is the Advent lunch box idea?? You are sooo clever and painfully adorable!
