Food for Thought: Holiday Bread
So not my best work but a tasty, colorful idea I just had to share. :)
It started when I fell in love with Astrid's Rainbow Pain de Mie over at Lunches Fit for a Kid. I wanted to make just a regular bread rather than pain de mie, however, a rainbow didn't go with my advent lunches I've been making so I figured why not use the same idea but with only red & green! Holiday bread!

Lunch Made Easy: Moose & Zee!
This weeks theme on the Bento Blog Network is Nick Jr.
I seriously try to not let Little Miss watch too much TV and if she does I *hope* it's educational programming... so for this challenge I thought it'd be fun to capture two of her favorite little characters "Moose & Zee"!

Little Miss has "Apple Days" at school today, so what better way to enjoy lunch than with an Apple theme to coincide with what's going on in class:

Lunch Made Easy: Flowers and Food
I'm so behind on my posting as of late. Between fun & full weekends and being crazy busy at work, I feel like I'm behind anyways. :)

Snackable: Edible Crayons
What a crazy busy and good day!
First with the good: My little miss graduated Kindergarten today!! The celebration at her school was so cute. (Yes, I did tear up!) They did such a nice job between the songs, a little dance, a poem, and announcing each child by name. I especially loved her little graduation cap she made and wore. :)
After, we had a girls lunch out to eat followed by some fun driveway chalk drawing time together. Perfect day off work and so glad I didn't miss it!
Now with the crazy... so I got home late last night and didn't get to make her class treat for today. Instead, I woke up early to do it. No big deal - I get up early everyday... except when things don't work out like you want them to and you start to get upset. (Not a good way to start the day.) I'll explain more about that in a minute...
While blogstalking reading one day, I found an amazing link on Gourmet Mom On-The-Go's blog that was for Edible Crayons! What a GREAT idea and I had been waiting to try it out... what a perfect time, right?

Food for Thought: Flower Inspired Dinner Creativity
I wanted to share with you a shot of the plate I made for my little miss for dinner last night.
My sister has got me hooked on the idea of bento inpsired lunches. I, of course, do not have the talent or time to do have of the crazy beautiful ones I've seen, lol, but the ones I give a stab at my five year old appreciates most greatly!
