Lunch Made Easy: SpongeBob LunchPants

Oh how much Little Miss loved seeing me make SpongeBob smiling face! :)
It gave her one brighter than the sun. :)

It was def a challenge trying to get his little facial features... this was my very best attempt!

Ontop of her crustless sandwich is Spongebob. He's made of cheese, food color writing pens, some gel icing, and a piece fruit leather for his actual mouth.

Above him are some Alphabet Cookies spelling "Bob". Under the cookies are two picks of red seedless grapes.
A few strawberry dices on the right of those, with flowered hotdogs and handcut flowered carrots below and around the rest of that side.

Bottom right are some goldfish, stars, whales, and sharks cheese crackers (with a Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookie tucked in there for good measure ;) lol).

Top right are some frozen yogurt pieces I made in silicone fruit-shaped candy molds overnight.  I've done these before with a little tutorial - see HERE.
Notice the Pineapples ontop. ;)
(Great now I have the song stuck in my head, "who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" lol)

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

  1. Excellent job! You did a GREAT job on this. I've thought of doing SpongeBob...but no plans as of now. I've been making a list of future thems for theme of the week and Nickelodeon characters is on the list! Oh...I should do literature too as I see your Hungry Caterpillar over on the sidebar.
