Today I choose HOPE. I want to live in a world of LOVE.

Just today a friend sent her daughter to school with a heavy heart, after there were threats made against the schools in her county fearing their safety.

People after training for months, even years, conquering personal goals and battles ran today... family members stood by cheering them on... not knowing that their lives would change forever in a few short moments. Left with unanswered questions and serious injury to many.

There is a problem with the world we are living in.

We may not all agree - worship the same God, fight for the same laws... look the same, talk the same, have as much money or education as another, and so on and so on...

It’s time to end this. Now.

When will it be enough? How many people have to get hurt or die? Families scared, torn apart?

It's not just this, today.
We lost 20... TWENTY of our babies last December at Sandy Hook. 12 students at Columbine. And almost 3,000 during the September 11th attacks. This is just to name a few... a few... yes, there have been many more. Sad, isn't it?

No, we can't change the world alone, but we can set an example. Remember the America that came together after September 11? When all those things - differences - didn't matter? We were united. As one.

I want to live in a world of Love.
Where I might believe in God and praise Him in the on the mountain tops and in the valleys... and if you don't, that's okay. I'll respect you if you respect me.

At the end of the day, know that I will hold your hand and I will love you. No matter who you are, what your choices have been, and what you believe.

We all need to stop and think for a moment.
Kids are being bullied and committing suicide. Adults are turning to addictions to find their own self-worth.

Enough. Enough. Enough.
It's time to think before we speak - Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it important?
Walk a mile in someone else's shoes.
Love instead of hate.
Support instead of judgment.
Lift someone up instead of tearing them down.
Assume the best in others instead of the worst.
This world has given many of us a thick wall, where we can't even see the good happening around us. Instead we turn a shoulder or bash it.

What if we all made a change? Made a difference?
Some times that one kind word... that one kind deed... it might be the lifeline someone else needs to pull them from the depths of despair. To make them stop before they hurt themselves or God forbid others.
I want that – don’t you?

Tears should be flowing with joy. Not sadness.
I want to live in a world of Love.

Please, for us… for our children… for their children…

Enough. Enough. Enough.
