Lunch Made Easy: Robots, Wraps, & Rocky Mornings

I love when I look back on school lunches from the week and there's such a wide variety - creative robots, simple and cute pinwheels, and the slapped together last minute! lol
It's real. It's our life. I love every day of it.

I was also thrilled to try a new brand of gluten & nut free sandwich wraps this week (more on what that brand was in just a minute).

Here's what we packed this week in our {Allergy Friendly Fun Lunches}:

Monday we tried out our new gluten free wraps I mentioned above. They're made by Toufayan Bakeries. They're also sold fresh at our grocer, not frozen, so they are soft and don't crumble when you roll them! For those who are mindful of other allergens besides gluten, Udi's new wraps might be a better option.
She also has a carrot, pears, and apple slices in her EasyLunchboxes container.
Tip: I keep the apples from browning by soaking them in a bit of apple juice.

For those who followed the NCAA Championship for Men's Basketball, the University of Michigan played Monday night for the Championship vs Louisville. Well, that meant this Mama stayed up wayyyy to late and then could not get her behind out of bed Tuesday morning...

That brought about this speedy lunch! It worked out just great in the end because Little Miss loved it and I was able to put it together in just a few short minutes that morning.
She has an Udi's gluten, dairy, soy, & nut free bagel with The Sneaky Chef's new No-Nut Butter on it. (Review coming soon for this spread!)
She also has turkey roll-ups, carrot sticks, and a Buddy Fruits Apple Banana pouch.

More fun with our new gluten free wraps on Wednesday. Here she has sandwich pinwheels, a carrot, half a banana, and pears in a Mini Dipper lidded container.
Tip: I keep the banana from browning by dipping each cut end into a bit of lemon juice.

Thursday's lunch was inspired by these fun cupcake picks you see in the photo. My sister gave us a fabulous Wilton Kids Cupcake Tote and I was thrilled to think of a fun way to use some of them.
This lunch required no special tools just a bit of imagination and a paring knife.
I made the robot face from our Udi's gluten, nut, soy, & dairy free bread. His mouth is made from provolone cheese, but you can sub for your preferred non-dairy kind. His other "parts" are made from grapes and carrot.
She also has packed apple slices and organic popcorn.

Friday we kept it simple by using our butterfly shaped cookie cutters on our sandwiches made with Udi's Whole Grain gluten, nut, soy, & dairy free bread. She also has flower carrot coins, golden raisins, butterfly cheese shapes, and a Buddy Fruits Apple Banana pouch.
To keep it dairy free, sub the cheese for non-dairy or replaces with Ener-G brand pretzels, or fruit leather shapes instead.
