I've been a recipe contributor on the MOMables blog for a year and half now. I love it! Chief MOM Laura Fuentes is not only a wonderful friend, but she's passionate about helping families. She built MOMables to make life easier on families, like her own, that were juggling work, activities, and school.
Lunch shouldn't be complicated. It should be, however, nutritious and delicious!
How does the subscription service work?
Each week, you log-in to your account on MOMables.com to access your weekly menus. There you'll find your weekly plan filled with a variety of easy ideas, prep ahead, and lunch packing tips.
Each menu item is pictured, just like your favorite recipes. If you have a picky eater, it's easy to sub out a suggested side for their favorite item (example: your child likes grapes over blueberries - easy change).
Every week you'll also get a complete grocery list of items needed to fulfill that weeks' menus and a printable "at a glance" menu which is handy for hanging on the fridge or bulletin board, nearby.
My favorite part? Every menu includes a vegetarian, gluten free, and nut free option (where applicable). It's also great for adults! That's right - MOMables Menus aren't just for the kids. It's great for the entire family!
You can get a sample week from MOMables --yup, 5 lunch ideas, prep-ahead tips and a shopping list-- for FREE! when you sign up for their weekly newsletter. If you are ready to let MOMables help you get out of your lunch packing rut, come up with new lunch ideas, and simplify your lunch packing routine... check out their plans. Get ready to start making school lunches your kids will love.

I could really use some new ideas! My daughter is getting better at eating, but she's definitely still a toddler. Plus, she's allergic to dairy and most yummy-looking lunches involve dairy.
Glad to see the nut-free options! My daughter doesn't really have a least favorite food. I could do without mushrooms, but will eat them if they're in something.
I was literally going to subscribe to Momables today (because I follow her AWESOME blog and this is the first year I'm packing lunch that has to be gluten-and dairy-free), but will wait until I win this giveaway! ;o)
Would love a Momables subscription! My youngest son has food allergies and this year I've started making my older son fun and nutritious lunches as well.
I would absolutely LOVE a subscription! I have the pickiest 3 year old in the world who is a non-protein eater (eggs, meat in any form, beans, etc) with the exception of milk, cheese, yogurt, peanut butter, and cottage cheese. And not for lack of trying every day for the past 2 1/2 years. It's impossible to get him to eat some days. Now he's starting preschool in a couple weeks and I am completely at a loss as to what to pack for his lunches. :S
Half my house hates fish and the other half doesn't. If you spin the people around it's also Ribs half hates and likes. No two people in my house hate or like the same thing. It makes it hard to cook something without it being snubbed by someone.
I have one who won't eat cheese (unless it's on macaroni)... or whatever else that doesn't look appealing to him that day, even if he loves all the ingredients normally.
Depends on the child! LOL #1 hates peas, #2 doesn't like sweets, #3 doesn't like anything not plain, #4 doesn't like meat, is so small it's yet to be determined!
I have 3 kiddos and they all have different tastes. My youngest does not like many fruits or veggies. My middle one loves most fruits and veggies, but not eggs. My oldest does not like tomatoes. So hard to keep track of it all! :) - Kaye
