Lunch Made Easy: WEXY Lunch & Munch Bags {BPA Free}

This week my Little Miss had a field trip to the zoo. I was glad I was able to take the time off to help chaperone, as well.

This trip also required disposable lunches for the both of us. We love reusing/ recycling strawberry containers or other leftover items when we have field trips, but this week we were excited to use our new WEXY Bags for the trip!

We try really hard to always use reusable containers and bento boxes when it comes to packing lunches, leftovers, and even storing fruits or vegetables in our refrigerator for the week. As great as that is, let's be honest, sometimes baggies happen. It's inevitable.

What I love most about WEXY Bags are that they're eco-friendly. They're biodegradable, recyclable, and reusable. They're also packaged using 100% recycled materials

Each bag features one of four funky monster designs and each character has their own story (you can check them out on their website).

WEXY Bags have been featured numerous times on 100 Days of Real Food, along with many other websites & blogs.

Created by Carrie Connell, a food allergy mom, WEXY Bags are a great option for snacks on the go, field trips, and every day life! They are more expensive than Ziploc's but since they're reusable and eco-friendly, I feel they're worth the added up front expense! Plus I love supporting "mompreneurs".

The bags are 5"x6". Depending on the size of the bread you use, a whole sandwich may not fit BUT our Udi's Whole Grain Gluten Free Bread slices fit perfectly!

Here is Little Miss' sandwich pictured from her field trip. She chose her favorite, a SunButter & Jelly sandwich.

We also packed Late July Organic Tortilla Chips, baby carrots, and fruit for our trip.

WEXY Bags are now available on Amazon.com ~ Check them out and try them out!
