It's been one of ups and downs, with a side of busy busy busy at our house. TGIF!
No matter how crazy our days are, we always manage to find time and have fun with our food. :)
If you gotta pack it, might as well enjoy it - right!?
This week in lunches, we had everything from Earth Day, to Allergy Free, Pandas, and even leftovers. Yummy!
As always, our school lunch box ideas are gluten, wheat, tree nut, peanut free & more:
Monday was Earth Day! We did a special post on the blog featuring a yummy idea for Top 8 Allergy Free, Gluten, & Dye Free Earth Muffins ~ Psst! They're healthy too! Don't tell. ;)
Tuesday my Little Miss enjoyed some goodies that I received at the GFAF Expo in Chicago. More posts/ recaps on the event to come soon!
Little Miss had a ham sandwich on a Schar Ciabbatta roll. Have you tried these? They're AWESOME.Gluten, wheat, and lactose free. They contain no additional milk, eggs, or preservatives. Little Miss loved it!
She also had carrots, pears, and two Cybele's Free-to-Eat Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Um, another awesome find. I cannot say enough how "real" these cookies taste! AND they're Top 8 Allergy Free, Gluten Free, & Vegan. Go get them. Now. They're soft and delicious! I got to meet Cybele at the Expo, too - what an amazing and driven woman!
Wednesday was a bit of a time crunch when we were packing. Somehow the simple & quick lunches end up being just as good and enjoyed!
Turkey & cheese roll-ups, baby carrots, gluten free tortilla chips, Schar brand vanilla sandwich cookies, and a GoGo Squeez Apple Banana pouch.
Thursday we got creative with our Toufayan brand gluten & nut free wraps and our CuteZCute Animal Friends Cutters. We decided to use the panda for our quesadillas. Little Miss loves pandas, and was happy we had a matching pick fork for her peaches, as well. I also packed her a sweet Lunchbox Love Note! { Save 15% off LBL Notes with promo code LBLKMGB }
I'm kind of in love with these Ener-G Brand crackers. They're HUGE, taste fabulous, and allergy free. These particular crackers are gluten, wheat, dairy, casein, egg, and nut free. Shown here topped with allergy friendlySunButter sunflower seed spread and a raisin heart.
We also packed watermelon balls, carrots, celery, and a honey stick so she can spread it on her crackers too, if she wants.
Don't forget to also check out the guest post we had this week over at A Boy & His Lunch! See how I made this yummy dinner and packed it up for a delish gluten, nut, and dairy free lunch.
