Food for Thought: Crockpot Love - A1 & Dijon Steaks

Mmm, when I saw this recipe over at Crockpot365 I just knew I had to try it...

 What You'll Need:

(This is what the original recipe calls for - I ended up adjusting mine for just two steaks)

--4-6 steaks
--2 T A-1 sauce
--2 T dijon mustard
--1/4 cup white wine
1) Mix A1 & Dijon in a small bowl, then paint/ spread the mixture on both sides of the steak. (Lather it on it, trust me!)
2) Spray pot with cooking spray, then place meat inside your crockpot.
3) Pour wine over top.
4) Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
I also wrapped up a potato in foil for the boyfriend to have with his steak when he got to the house after work.  You can sit it right ontop of the steaks and cook everything all together! WIN!
How easy is that!?

(I took this picture after it had been cooking for awhile, thus why the steaks aren't red anymore FYI)

When I got home I made myself a steamed veggie/potato side as shown in the picture. You could also serve with rice. There will be a lot of sauce in the pot, it's so yummy... just spoon it over the top of the steak on your plate, if you'd like, for added taste - I would especially recommend if eating with rice. :)

The steaks had great flavor and I was in love with the smell from the moment I started cooking it from the dijon, A1, & wine!

A great meal that was completely done walking in the door. Love it.
