Lunch Made Easy: {Go Vote!} Election Day 2012

Little Miss has learned all about the Presidential Election in school. She has been so excited, counting down the days, and telling me "Mama... Tuesday is voting day! Don't forget!"

They even had a mock election in school voting for President and gave them "I Voted!" stickers. She was so proud when she came home.

She helped me put together last night this fun {Allergy Friendly} Election Day school lunch to celebrate the special day: Gluten, Tree Nut, Peanut, & Dairy Free with notes
Little Miss has a SunButter sunflower seed spread and jelly sandwich on Udi's bread. Udi's bread is gluten, nut, dairy, and soy free. For egg allergies, sub with your preferred brand or homemade loaf to keep the entire lunch egg free, as well.

I made the words "VOTE" out of provalone cheese but you could also use fruit leather or dairy free cheese.

Surrounding the sandwich are two carrots I attempted to carve stripes into. Above it are two Enjoy Life brand Soft Bake Snickerdoodle Cookies. We used our mini star cutter on them to create our stars & stripes. Enjoy Life brand is free of the Top 8 Allergens.

In the top right are frozen unsweetened applesauce stars we froze in our silicone star ice cube tray mold overnight.

Top left has a mini chiquita banana. I used a toothpick and wrote "USA!" on it last night.

We also included a fun Presidential fact Lunchbox Love Note!
