Lunch Made Easy: Five, Six, Pick Up Sticks!

Thursday's lunch is a little "sticky"! ;)
Hardy har har...

The "stick theme" for this lunch came from the pancake sticks that are in the main compartment.

They're all the scraps and leftover pancakes from the Friday the 13th breakfast I made for Little Miss - I took my number one cutter and used it on all the leftover pieces, cutting out a bunch of these gluten free pancake stick bites.

I put them in the freezer to keep and pulled them out this morning so I could pack in her lunchbox. :)
They are both regular pancakes and banana chocolate ones. Yumm-o!

Beside it is a small lidded container with syrup and below that are meat stick bites.

Top left is cheese stick bites and top right is a mixture of carrot & apple sticks.

Lunch is packed in an EasyLunchBoxes container.

  1. Hi there! How did you make the carrots and apples into sticks like that? I love how you do simple things like changing up the shapes! My son would get a kick out of that. :)

  3. Hi Keeley,
How do you keep the apple slices without turning them bad? I mean getting the black color once you cut it. My daughter loves to eat apples in slices

    1. Hi! A sharp knife is key. We like to soak our slices in apple juice for a few minutes then pat dry.
